Easter, a time when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, was also celebrated at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester which was organised by the Leicester Hospitals chaplaincy team. 

Six choir members sang in corridors and on wards, bringing happiness, joy and tears to both staff and inpatients.

But this was just the start of what the choir had to share as they attended the hospitals Easter Service.

Amazing Grace, This Little Light of Mine and Oh Happy Day were sung between bible readings, words of encouragement, and prayers.

As the service came to an end, the attendees thanked the choir for singing and leaving the atmosphere full of happiness and joy. Although the inpatients were in hospital, they were truly glad to be in the right hospital at the right time.
